My trusted Oprah Magazine has been arriving every month for the last several years.
I try to keep only a year worth of issues, although I am a bit behind on my reading lately. When I finish reading an issue, I go back to the corresponding month of the previous year, rip the pages I want to keep, file them in a binder (I will show examples of my binders in a later post) and recycle the magazine. I try to keep a limited number of articles as many are conveniently available online.
I like receiving my glossy magazine, and I usually find useful information and interesting articles that make me think and grow.
The theme of this particular issue was: Find Joy in Every Day.
A few snippets related to being organized resonated with me and I wanted to present them to you. You can find all 20 ways to find joy here.
Sometimes, just cleaning out the junk drawer that’s been nagging you, feels like a huge accomplishment.
It paves the way to bigger feats and gives you momentum to move forward.
Taking a few moments to prepare can save a lot of time and stress.
We are going camping this weekend and all we had to do was grab bins and bags that already have all the camping gear we need. Ready to go in 30 minutes flat.
“Buy only things you want around forever”.
I love that.
