Spring cleaning, weather you do a little or a lot, is a great opportunity to get the windows open, welcome in some fresh air and unstuff your living space.
There are a few chores I typically do around spring:
- Declutter our closets;
- Swap winter and summer outdoor gear;
- Empty and clean the fridge;
- Clean the windows and curtains; and
- I might help out with clearing the garage.
4 Great Resources for Spring Cleaning
You are only moments away from a plethora of Spring Cleaning Lists, if only you had the time to Google it. Don’t worry I’ve done it for you and here are 4 of my favourites.
Pick a list from these resources for spring cleaning and complete all the tasks, peruse the options and select tasks from different lists, or make your own and share below what you decided to do.
The Spring Cleaning Checklist from Becky at Clean Mama is super thorough. Over the years she has developed manageable routines for busy people and parents who want to enjoy life and not just spend their time cleaning. She has all kinds of lists for getting your cleaning routine organized.
2. Apartment Therapy
I loves the Month by Month Home Checklist from Apartment Therapy (unfortunately not available online anymore). It was part of their 2016 Healthy + Happy Home Series. The lists are simple and easy to follow. Bonus, you also get a few ideas for weekend projects to do around the house.
3. Magnolia Market
This list from Chip and Joanna Gaines is just so pretty it might motivate you to actually clean! You may have seen them on Fixer Upper the HGTV show. I like this list again because it’s simple and to the point.
4. Clean My Space
Melissa at Clean My Space is the go to source for DIY cleaner recipes. The recipes are super easy and made mainly from ingredients you already have, they’re evidently great for the environment and, best of all, she’s Canadian :).
And in case you feel motivated to declutter at the same time and you’re considering organizing a garage sale, make sure to read all the details from our last Garage Sale.
